Gerardo Trevino, Chief Information Officer, Axtel talks about TCS’ deep knowledge and understanding of its operations which helped the company to manage the complexity of Axtel and Alestra’s consolidation. “ The final outcome was simplified operations at organizational level, which gave our employees a simpler way to operate and all this was achieved without any impact on the operation for our customers and our revenue. The benefits of this initiative brought Axtel a simpler operating model and more productive manner to serve our customers,” said Trevino.
Post merger the customer base and services of Axtel and Alestra are consolidated into a single operating model which allows Axtel to be more agile due to simplified operations. “The return on investment from this engagement was spectacular. Productivity indexes were improved considerably at the organizational level, overall operating costs as well as costs associated with the managing of multiple platform were lowered and most importantly we were able to ensure that the company was operating in a homologous manner after such a complex and challenging process,” said Trevino.
“The experience we had in collaborating with TCS on this initiative can be summarized as team work, an integrated team where all the parties that were involved with different challenges collaborated together as a single team with a single objective.”
