Overview
SPRL is the largest manufacturer of pistons, pins, rings, and engine valves in India and operates two plants in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The company enjoys an exceptional lineage of the Shriram Group. Driven by advanced technology, it has the capability to provide end-to-end solutions in manufacturing products for its customers at its tech center, ranging from concept design, simulation, rig testing, prototype development, engine testing and analysis, and actual manufacturing.

- Managing seamless appraisal process for employees
- Complexity in employee goal creation and approval from the supervisor
Bringing about transparency and cohesiveness across the processes mandated SPRL to seek a robust mechanism to manage human resources with a modern HRMS platform.

TCS Chroma HRMS platform, a proprietary platform, was deployed to handle HR tasks at SPRL.
Chroma brought in a centralized system for SPRL with the following functionalities:
- Developed and implemented a revamped performance management system as per the need
- Completely automated goal/KRA creation from employee and verification from supervisor
- Implemented robust evaluation as per the desired process and approval hierarchy
