Overview
Delphi-TVS Technologies Ltd. is a joint venture between PHINIA (Erstwhile BorgWarner / Delphi), U.S.A. and TVS Group engaged in manufacturing diesel fuel injection systems for automotives.
Delphi is one of the world's largest automotive systems suppliers, while TVS holds a similar position in India. Certified with ISO/TS 16949 and ISO 14000 standards, the company has earned the ACMA gold award for manufacturing excellence.
Headquartered in Chennai, India, the company had set its sights on elevating and refining its human capital management (HCM) to make it more efficient and effective. It aimed to enrich the entire workforce cycle from recruitment to retirement with a cost-effective unified solution.
Challenges
The hunt for an optimized and cost-effective unified solution brought Delphi-TVS to TCS Chroma. Delphi-TVS sought to manage its human resource operations efficiently while optimizing costs. Given the increasing role of strategic HR in decision making, their existing HR systems required more cohesion, demanding operational effectiveness and data consistencies while reducing the operating overheads. Additionally, there was a need for a unified platform to gain real-time insights and make informed decisions, impacting overall productivity and employee satisfaction.
To address these issues, Delphi-TVS needed a comprehensive and integrated HRMS platform that could streamline processes, enhance data accuracy, and provide a seamless user experience while being cost-effective.

Solution
TCS Chroma’s payroll management module is integrated with the existing payroll and attendance systems for enhanced efficiency and accuracy. Delphi-TVS implemented Chroma, a robust platform to standardize and streamline its current HCM processes. This strategic move ensured that the organization's operations remained slick even after Chroma was fully operational.
Chroma delivers a comprehensive suite of modules that covers a wide range of HR management aspects, including recruitment and onboarding, organization and people management, and managed payroll integration.
Chroma payroll management seamlessly integrated with Delphi-TVS’s existing payroll system to simplify complex payroll processing and provide employees with easy access to important documents such as pay slips and tax statements directly within the single unified platform.
Furthermore, Chroma’s leave and attendance management module connected with the Delphi-TVS attendance system and ensured the efficient capture of attendance data, consequently improving the accuracy and reliability of workforce management processes within the organization. Through extensive integration with other features, Chroma enabled an efficient and cost-effective solution, enhancing the company's overall employee management.
