Helping Business for Peace reach out better
A new communication platform
When the Business for Peace Foundation needed a new website, there was no doubt in our mind that this was a project we wanted to be a part of.
As part of TCS’ pro bono project “Community Innovation”, we have tailored a brand-new communication platform for the non-profit foundation. The website ensures that more businesses create value for the community and society.
Rewarding businesses that contribute to society
Business for Peace is a non-profit foundation that works globally to ensure that the business world actively contributes to a positive change and engages with the local community beyond day-to-day operations.
The website we have developed for Business for Peace is the start of a new phase that will help the foundation reach out to even more partners with their message. Annually, Business for Peace presents the Oslo Business for Peace Award to business leaders who, through their business, have distinguished themselves for their positive contribution to society.

Pro bono work aligns with our core values
Our goal with these projects is to increase the opportunities and skills of non-profit organisations that seek to create social and environmental impact in society. We use internal resources that can contribute with a variety of services, from consultancy, technology services and cloud hosting.
Essentials of the application process
When we embark on the application process where we choose the non-profit organisations to work with, there are several qualities we consider. We look for organisations that are involved in and contribute to the uplift of their local community. It is also important that their values align with our core values and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Further, we assess what technology services they need and if we can help them within a reasonable timeframe. We also consider what resources are needed and what we can contribute to the project. We place great emphasis on the organisation’s purpose and values. Business for Peace fulfilled all these criteria, and the foundation was fully in line with our values.
