TCS partners with Intel to Further Secure Quartz Blockchain Solutions

TCS will Integrate Intel SGX Technology to Enhance Privacy and Security of Blockchain-based Ecosystems Built Using Quartz Blockchain Solution

SYDNEY | MUMBAI, October 24, 2018: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organization announced that it is partnering with Intel® to integrate Intel® Software Guard Extensions (Intel® SGX) technology with the Quartz Blockchain solution, to further enhance the privacy and security of blockchain based ecosystems implemented using Quartz.

Privacy and security have been two of the biggest concerns for organizations looking to migrate some of their business functions to blockchain. By integrating Intel® SGX technology, Quartz solutions now offer customers the ability to isolate sensitive business code, data and transactions requiring confidentiality within an “enclave” in an encrypted form, thereby protecting these from being accessed by unauthorized users.
