TCS’ Suite of Extensions, Including SAP-certified Offerings, and Focus on Tailoring Broad Solutions to the Customer’s Business Context, Cited as Key Strengths
LONDON | MUMBAI, June 3, 2019: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading global IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, has been positioned as a Leader in the NelsonHall NEAT for SAP HANA and S/4HANA Services[1], for the second consecutive year.
The report cites TCS’ suite of extensions, tailored to specific client needs, including SAP-certified offerings, as a strength. TCS’ focus on SAP Model Company and tailoring broad solutions to the client’s business context, were also highlighted as strengths.
“The combinatorial effect of SAP HANA and S/4HANA and new age technologies is helping enterprises gain business agility, improve customer satisfaction, and accelerate their Business 4.0™ transformation journeys,” said Akhilesh Tiwari, Global Head, Enterprise Application Services, TCS. “This recognition is a testament to our ability to deliver immediate benefits and ability to meet future customer requirements.”
TCS’ comprehensive portfolio of SAP HANA and S/4HANA services includes interactive design, advisory, consulting, implementation and support. TCS has a large SAP practice with a worldwide footprint across 450 ongoing engagements. The services portfolio around SAP HANA and S4/HANA covers advisory and consulting services, including business case preparation and enterprise-wide strategy definition, interactive design, Proof of Concept (PoC), and core program activities such as planning, infrastructure management, implementation, migration, and support.
TCS’ innovation and demo centers in Cincinnati-US, Paris-France, Mumbai-India and Tokyo-Japan help customers gain a first-hand experience of SAP’s new products and global innovations through a digital transformation ecosystem. Solution architects at these centers have built over 30 analytics solutions and PoCs across industries and domains to help customers gain deeper real-time insights. TCS also uses its domain expertise in multiple industry verticals to develop intelligent solutions, like Intelligent Rail Management, Intelligent Field Inventory Management for medical device manufacturers and Smart Maintenance solutions, which are helping global customers digitally transform their businesses.
TCS leverages its preconfigured industry solutions, tools and accelerators along with its contextual knowledge and industry best practices to accelerate S/4HANA transformations. TCS’ SAP S/4HANA Transformer Suite helps customers visualize their future business processes and operations, mitigating implementation risks. TCS’ global SAP consulting teams leverage these assets and accelerators to co-innovate transformational solutions, and deliver them in an automation-driven and Location Independent Agile model.
“SAP HANA and S/4HANA help enterprises gain business insights, increase revenues, improve customer service and build a foundation for digital transformation,” said David McIntire, IT Services Research Director, NelsonHall. “TCS’s commitment to SAP services is reflected in the alignment of its Business 4.0 framework with SAP Intelligent Enterprise. It is positioned well to support clients adopting HANA and S/4HANA thanks to its co-development and co-innovation relationship with SAP, its suite of tools across the migration lifecycle, its industry-tailored offerings and its geographically diverse delivery footprint.”
“Our digital strategy built on the Business 4.0 framework, our continued investments in solution development and intellectual property that leverage our deep domain expertise and contextual knowledge, make us a preferred partner for customers looking to drive their digital transformation using SAP HANA and S/4HANA,” added Akhilesh Tiwari.
