Recognized by top analyst firm for customer satisfaction, expertise, investment in SAP services

Singapore | Mumbai, June 18, 2015: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) a leading IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, today announced it has been named as a Leader in “The Forrester Wave: SAP Service Providers in Asia Pacific, Q2 2015”.

According to Forrester, SAP customers across the region need service providers who can help them with their business transformation initiatives and support geographic expansion, standardize operating models, achieve digital operational excellence, implement digital customer experience initiatives. Forrester evaluated the 10 most significant SAP service providers in Asia Pacific, measured against 34-criteria, and reported findings about how well each provider delivers SAP-related services. TCS ranked amongst the top four vendors and is positioned in the Leaders category.

“TCS customers provided very positive feedback on value for money, access to global best practices, and overall satisfaction,” said Fred Giron, VP & Research Director, Forrester. “TCS has developed a strong local footprint with large local clients in AP markets, including the main ASEAN countries and Japan and is flexible enough to handle large, complex SAP implementations as well as smaller, more innovation-focused projects”.

“SAP is a very strategic partner of TCS in the Asia Pacific and we are delighted that Forrester has recognized us as a Leader amongst the strongest SAP service providers in the region,” said Girish Ramachandran, President, TCS Asia Pacific. “The recognition is based on the positive feedback from our SAP client base, and the fact that TCS ranked highest in customer satisfaction is a testament to our sharp focus on partnering with SAP to offer industry leading application strategy, delivery and support that is helping transform our clients’ core business operations and performance.”

Forrester highlights TCS as a Leader for criteria including:

  • Very strong growth in the region in recent years, strong ambitions and the investments and commitments necessary to support those plans - with the example of TCS’ new scale in Japan attributed to the 2014 merger with Mitsubishi’s IT Frontier technology service entity
  • Strength as a business transformation service provider with very significant geographic and a breadth and depth of expertise
  • Exposure to large, complex technology and business projects and innovative projects leveraging newer elements of the SAP technology portfolio
  • High levels of customer satisfaction, with TCS ranking highest for client satisfaction amongst all vendors in the report, with a 3.63/5 score

TCS has received numerous accolades for its SAP offering in Asia Pacific and worldwide. TCS Asia Pacific and AGL, a leading Australia-based utility, were jointly recognized as winners of the SAP Award of excellence 2013 for Best Run Analytics. TCS won the 2014 SAP Pinnacle Award for SAP Customers’ Choice, the 2015 SAP Pinnacle Award for Run SAP Partner of the Year for the third year in a row, and was a 2015 finalist for the Services Transformation Partner of the Year.
