TCS advances in leading annual poll pitting global peers in China market
Mumbai | Beijing, November 6, 2013: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, has been ranked second overall in the prestigious annual “TOP20 Service Outsourcing MNCs in China” poll conducted by Chinasourcing and Devott Service Outsourcing Research Center. This is the fourth consecutive year that TCS has been recognized on the list, and this year’s number two rating advances from number seven last year.
The “TOP20 Service Outsourcing MNCs in China” award recognizes the leading service outsourcing multinationals (MNCs) operating in the China market. It is granted after several months of selection process that incorporates stringent criteria and processes. Companies are evaluated based on their operational efficiency, managing ability and scale of operations.

The Top20 award is the latest amongst a series of high-level recognition for TCS China. In July, TCS China was awarded the “2013 Top 10 Global Service Providers in China” by the China Council for International Investment Promotion (CCIIP). TCS has been expanding its presence in China since 2002 and now operates six Global Delivery Centers in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Shenzhen & Dalian). TCS China currently has global and domestic clients from financial services, manufacturing, telecom, retail, automobile as well as the government sector. It has proven delivery capabilities in ADM, Enterprise Solutions, EIS, BPO-KPO, Assurance Services and Infrastructure Services.
