TCS improves ranking in the FinTech 100 for the fourth consecutive year
Mumbai | Chicago, October 12, 2011: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS), a leading IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, announced today that it has been ranked third in the FinTech 100, an annual international listing of the top vertical technology vendors that derive more than one-third of their revenue from financial services industry as named by American Banker, Bank Technology News and IDC Financial Insights.
For the fourth consecutive year, TCS has been ranked among the top 10 in the FinTech 100. Nearly 45% of TCS’ revenue came from banking, financial services and insurance during the financial year 2010-11. TCS has moved up one more spot from last year. The FinTech 100 ranking is categorized and evaluated on the basis of calendar year revenues and the percentage of revenue attributed to financial services.
