Who can apply (Eligibility):

Professionals with 2–4 years of full‑time IT experience
Must hold a full‑time Graduate or Postgraduate degree recognized by AICTE or UGC
Candidates should have hands‑on experience in at least one of these technologies:
Java, Embedded C, C++, SQL, .NET, Python, AngularJS, ReactJS, Node.js, Selenium Automation, Informatica ETL, REST/SOAP Web Services, HTML/CSS3

Hiring Process (2 Stages):

Single Stage Assessment

This is a 105‑minute, virtual, remote‑proctored, self‑paced assessment that can be taken from any location. A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email ID. The assessment link will be sent on same email ID in 5 to 10 days of registration. You must complete the assessment within 48 hours of receiving the link. Results will be shared after 48 hours of assessment completion.

Final Discussion:

Candidates who clear the assessment will be invited for a quick in-person discussion at a TCS office/TCS iON Test Centre. The interview will be scheduled after 7 days post the announcement of exam results.

What are the precautions to be taken for assessment?

Check the internet bandwidth.
Ensure to carry IRC (Infrastructure Readiness Check) of your machines.
Mock test link will be shared to your registered email id.
Candidate to use the same machine for the mock and for the actual exam.
Actual exam link will be sent only to those candidates who have taken the mock / IRC.

Yes, there will be a coding section as part of the assessment.

Candidates who are shortlisted for the interview-based assessment will attend a single round of quick in-person discussion.

No. It is mandatory for candidates who qualify the assessment to attend the interview process in person at TCS iON Centers or TCS Office.

No, it is not required to take the assessment multiple times. Candidates can specify their preferred technologies to be assessed basis which assessment link will be shared.

Yes. When you register for the process, you will be able to specify your preferred technology area on which you would like to be assessed.

Yes, you can participate again in this challenge in the next cycle, when it is announced.

No. Only full‑time work experience obtained after your highest qualification will be considered.

We are looking at candidates joining us in Q1 FY27, with preference given to quick joiners.

Once you receive an offer, you may select a tentative Date of Joining (DOJ). Your selected date must be within 120 days (approximately 4 months) from the date of the offer.
Your DOJ will be confirmed based on your current organization’s relieving date and Background Check (BGC) closure timelines. You will receive further communication from the TCS onboarding team.

Yes, there will be an orientation on next‑gen technologies, conducted in batches after joining.

System Requirements:

You should have a system with a working webcam and a microphone.
Kindly download the fresh launcher from the path provided in the instruction mail shared by TCS iON in either of the 2 ways; via download a zip folder or directly download the .exe file.
Supported on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers.
Browser zoom should be set to 100%.
This is an online AI-based virtually proctored assessment; your movements and Laptop/Desktop activities are monitored and recorded through AI. Please do not use the phone or any gadgets or try to get help from others to answer the exam.
Adoption of any unfair means at the exam will result in disqualification from the selection process.

Internet Based Assessment (IBA) Launcher is supported in the following Operating systems:

    Windows 10 (64-bit)
    Windows 11 (64-bit)
    (Same launcher works for both OS versions)

Recommended candidate system configuration:
    RAM: 8 GB or more
    Processor: Intel Core i3 or above
    Minimum 1 GB free storage
    Internet speed: Dedicated 10 Mbps or higher

Do NOT use:
    Android / iOS mobiles or tablets
    MacBook

Browser requirements and important instructions:

Browser zoom level: 100%
Recommended/Supported browsers: Google Chrome version 140 or higher or Microsoft Edge, for best performance.
In windows search bar, type %temp% and open that folder. Select all the files and press Shift + Delete. Skip any system files that cannot be deleted.
Next, from the search bar, type "Disk Cleanup". In the Disk Cleanup tab, check/tick all the boxes and click OK to remove all the files.
Search for delete temporary files in the search bar, wait for the system to calculate the temporary files, and then clear all the files.
Cookies and browser history must be deleted before you start logging in.
Before starting the assessment, please uninstall any screen-sharing tools/software from your system.
Kindly disable any antivirus software on your desktop/laptop.
All the exam will be conducted as per Indian Standard Time (IST).

Additional Important Points:

Antivirus and firewall must be disabled before launching the exam.
Ensure strong internet connectivity. Keep a backup connection (Wi‑Fi/hotspot) ready.
You must remain visible and in front of your system throughout the exam.
Break/Bio break are not allowed during the exam, so please ensure you are present for the whole duration of the exam without any disruption.
The audio and video will also be captured during the exam.
You should not be seen often looking away or down from the screen. If you must do a lengthy rough work, slightly shift back in such a way that camera can capture you doing rough work on the sheet. Do not keep any mobile or other assistive device on your desk or near you.

The interview will be scheduled after 7 days post the announcement of exam results.
