As Lead Data Scientist at TCS Pace Port™ London, I have collaborated with senior stakeholders, led discovery workshops, and contributed to rapid MVP development that brings ideas to life.

What makes this journey especially meaningful is the people: working alongside talented, cross-functional teams and learning from mentors who continuously challenge and support me.

At TCS, I have had the chance to grow through different roles while contributing to work that make a positive impact. I started as an intern with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team, delivering our flagship STEM programme to inspire young people to consider careers in technology and supporting the HOPE volunteering programme across the UK.

After 18 months, I transitioned to the UK Public Sector Pre-sales team, focusing on Social Value, where I contribute to bids that help create lasting benefits for clients and communities. Each step in my journey has built on the last, expanding my skills, confidence, and perspective.

Supported by continuous learning opportunities and collaboration across the business, I have been able to develop both professionally and personally while exploring new paths for growth.

TCS gave me the platform to explore different opportunities until I found my niche in account-based sales and customer relationships within the retail vertical. That journey included roles across consulting, pre-sales, product management, and program management, each helping me build new perspectives and capabilities.

One lesson I have learned is the importance of not becoming too comfortable in a role that no longer challenges you. At TCS, the next opportunity may be just around the corner, but spotting it requires a strong internal network and a willingness to take risks.

By staying open to new possibilities, learning from trusted colleagues, and supporting others in return, I have been able to continuously grow and evolve throughout my journey.

What began as a role in contract management has evolved into a strategic responsibility where technology, law, governance, and human connection come together. Supporting the Public Sector across the Netherlands and Europe as Lead for Contract Management, I work within a complex landscape of regulations, IT, compliance requirements, and diverse stakeholder interests.

Representing TCS within contractual frameworks, I focus on proactively managing risks, preventing escalations, and delivering sustainable solutions while building strong, trusted client relationships. By combining legal expertise with IT insight, I help create balanced agreements that minimise exposure and support long-term value creation.

Working in a European and international environment allows me to contribute to cross-border impact, support TCS’ growth, and continuously strengthen my own skills in a dynamic, technology-driven landscape.

"From trainee to Commercial Lead, TCS has supported every step of my journey."

I joined the Grow@TCS Trainee program in 2023 after graduating from university, and it gave me a strong foundation to begin my professional journey. The experience helped me transition into a Pricing Analyst role, where I worked on go-to-market analysis, pricing scenarios, and business case development for large deals.

Today, as a Commercial Lead for Strategic and Large Deals, I contribute to deal structuring and price-to-win analysis for large-scale, multi-million-euro opportunities across Europe. Throughout this journey, TCS has consistently provided opportunities to showcase my skills, learn from experienced leaders, and take on new challenges.

The mentorship, guidance, and support from my leaders, managers, and colleagues have played a key role in my development. I am grateful to be part of an organisation that encourages learning, empowers young talent, and provides exposure to impactful global business opportunities.

"TCS Japan has empowered me to apply GenAI in meaningful ways across industries."

At TCS Japan, I have been able to shape a career that brings together my PhD background in astrophysics, my passion for AI, and the opportunity to solve real business challenges. In my role as Deputy Head of the AI Centre of Excellence, TCS Japan has empowered me to lead consulting engagements end-to-end, from pre-sales to delivery, and to apply GenAI in meaningful ways across industries such as insurance, construction, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.

Through TCS, I have grown from working in machine learning to specialising in generative AI, deploying solutions in the fields of RAG and process automation. I have also actively shared my knowledge by training engineers through the GenAI Dojo programme, lecturing at universities, and contributing to leading Japanese IT media. Recognition as an ML/AI SME and an invitation to an AWS certification workshop in Seattle have further strengthened my commitment to lifelong learning, collaboration, and responsible AI innovation.
