TCS InQuizitive 2025 - National Finals

Welcome to the National Finals of TCS InQuizitive 2025, an initiative aligned with TCS' commitment to fostering curiosity among young learners and equipping them with cutting-edge technological knowledge. In its 2025 edition, this inter-school quiz competition engaged over 3,800 teams from more than 600 schools nationwide. The season culminates with the top six teams competing in the finale on December 6, 2025. Live coverage will commence at 5:15 PM on Saturday from President, Mumbai-IHCL SeleQtions.

TCS welcomes you to be a part of its learning initiative for high school students – TCS InQuizitive! TCS has been associated with quizzing for over two decades, which began with TCS IT Wiz, a 'knowledge Initiative' which kick-started in the year 1999, one of the biggest inter-school IT quizzes in India for students of class 8 - 12.

As a technology enabler, TCS has consistently introduced initiatives that help young minds stay updated with the latest technological trends.

Our quizzing platforms have empowered schools and students in understanding this technological revolution through engaging questions, keeping them informed about the growing technological developments in various fields like science, sports, engineering, mathematics, and art.

Today, the quiz has become a national benchmark in the inter-school quizzing circuit, known for its rigorous research, intense competition and sheer participation numbers. The quiz has received immense patronage among the student community, teachers, parents, and educational institutions and has become a part of the agenda for schools across the country.

With this edition of TCS InQuizitive, this Game of Minds is bound to ignite curiosity, foster analytical thinking, and celebrate innovation among students, with each round offering a distinctive mental challenge, wrapped in immersive visuals and interactivity. The edition will travel across 12 cities (Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur & Pune), unlocking one portal at a time, with every city completing a chapter, every round a cognitive mode, and every win a mission accomplished.

Meet our Quiz Masters

Giri Balasubramanium

Quiz master

Giri Balasubramaniam, affectionately called Pickbrain, heads Greycaps Pvt Ltd; Asia’s largest on- stage quiz and knowledge services company, headquartered in India. Giri is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School. He also has a Masters’ degree on Gandhian Thought and Philosophy and strongly believes in empowering India with educational solutions at grass root levels. During the first decade of his career, he worked with notable companies like The Times of India, Walt Disney Corporation and was the youngest Vice President at Indiainfo, before starting Greycaps. He holds the unique distinction of being the only quizmaster in the world to have hosted quizzes at the iconic Royal Opera House, London. Seen every weekend on national television channels he has presented over 4000 shows across 100 plus destinations of India, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Dubai, Japan, Muscat, UK and USA. His quiz shows are so popular in Oman that it even creates traffic jams – something unheard of in that country. He has a massive digital following of his work and his shows. He is a well-known orator, who was chosen as the convocation speaker by Harvard University. He has spoken at several institute convocations, TEDx, conferences and seminars all over the world. He is often invited to share his thoughts and perspectives at leading institutes like IIT’s and IIM’s as also at senior board level meets to address corporate executives. He has authored several books on general knowledge, values education and leadership. His books have reached more than 10 million youngsters. He is sought after corporate speaker and trainer who have been invited by several top companies to address their employees and facilitate training modules. These include the National Stock Exchange, Tata Group, Aditya Birla, Netapp, Bluestar, BPCL, Mecedes Benz, Infosys, Cognizant, Mindtree to name a few. He has hosted such programs both in India and overseas. He is the mind behind classroom-based programs in General Knowledge, Financial Literacy and Values Education with schools across Asia catering to a staggering 16 million youngsters. Giri is also the co-founder of The TeacherTribe.world, India’s largest portal for educators. This was started on the advice of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and has a huge following. He served the Government of Karnataka as part of prestigious Indian Administrative Fellowship launched in the 75th year of Indian independence. Selected among 10 people he is deputed to the Department of Education. He played a pivotal role in the architecting of the implantation of NEP2020 across Karnataka. He continues to advise the Government on Future skills in government schools. A winner of several awards at the state and national level, he was nominated to the Lead India Initiative as one of India’s potential future leaders. He has seven Limca Records to his credit and his work has been appreciated by none less than people like Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Dr. Raghuram Rajan, Edward De Bono, Narayana Murthy, N. Chandrasekaran, Dr.Shashi Tharoor just to name a few. He has been felicitated by bodies across the world for his work and contribution to education.

Rashmi Furtado

Quiz master

Rashmi is a charismatic young leader with a lot of passion for education and children, in particular. She has been in the education space for over a decade, initially teaching at the prestigious National Institute of Technology Surathkal which is also her alma-mater. During her early years with Greycaps, she was instrumental in the publishing of the Leadership handbook, which garnered a lot of praise including our former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Rashmi is an alumnus of the NIT-K Surathkal and IIM Calcutta. Rashmi is a well-known orator, who has spoken at several institutions , TEDx, conferences and seminars. She has authored several books, especially for children on general knowledge, values education and leadership. She is a passionate knowledge show host, writer, author and poet. She is the Co-founder and Senior Editor of TeacherTribe.world, India’s first portal for teachers and now also a magazine for teachers. The initiative has created a large teacher community of over 20,000 teachers across India. The World Teachers Quiz, a global digital initiative has a reach of over quarter million people globally. She is the most sought after professional woman quiz host in Asia. Having hosted over a 1750 shows in over 50 cities of India and overseas, she enjoys a large fan following especially with school and college students. She has co-hosted the Tata Crucible business quiz with noted quizmaster Pickbrain and hosted several other quizzes across India for corporate houses such as Bharat Petroleum, Mindtree, Union Bank, Cognizant, Canara Bank, Red Cross, Tata Consultancy Services to name a few. She has hosted numerous shows for education institutions. She has also hosted programs outside India at Singapore, Kuwait and Dubai as well. She was invited in November 2019, by the IIT-IIM Alumni association of Kuwait to host a special round at a quiz in Kuwait, the first by an Indian lady quiz host in that country. She has since been invited annually to co-host this prestigious quiz at Kuwait. She serves on the advisory board of educational institutions and is an often invited to be a part of strategic advisory committee’s both by educational institutions and corporate houses. She is also on the corporate board an ed-tech company. In 2020, she was listed by Business World as a 40 UNDER 40 among content creators and presenters from India. She was also conferred the ‘Iconic Women creating a better world for all’ award from WEF – The Women Economic Forum. She was awarded the Quiz Host of the year 2022-23 by SMX Business Networks. In 2025 she was listed among the Alumni Women Leaders from IIM Calcutta.
