DPS Noida : Ansh Arora and Pranav Dhar

City Montessori Lucknow : Ishaan Srivastava and Atul Patel

Over 900 children thronged the famous Dogra Hall at IIT Delhi. The smog during the week and the closure of the schools just did not seem to matter for a quiz that had looked forward to. After a well-balanced prelim, the finalists who made it from the prelim were:

Seth MR Jaipuria Lucknow : Mohitaksh Srivastava and Madhav Agarwal
Modern School Barakhamba Road : Ayan Marwaha and Aditya Sarkar
Ryan International School, Greater Noida : Ms.Sampurna and Garv Tandon
DPS Noida : Ansh Arora and Pranav Dhar
City Montessori Lucknow : Ishaan Srivastava and Atul Patel
Sriram School Gurgaon : Vaibhav Mehta and Aayush Gandhi

The final started with Pickbrain calling on the finalists. The line-up saw DPS featuring the defending national champion, while two teams from Lucknow made it on stage to make the battle tougher. Teams had come in from Dehradun, Meerut, Kanpur, Lucknow and all over Delhi and NCR.

The final saw the DPS duo start well and get to a quiz lead in the first couple of rounds. From there on the defending champions played cautious to ensure they did not take any negatives and kept the others at bay right through the final. It gave them the Delhi title and took them closer to another national crown.

The rest of the teams were locked in the battle for the second spot. Ryan looked like inching ahead of the rest but in the end with some sharp buzzing it was the City Montessori duo from Lucknow that finished second.

The chief guest, Prof. Anu Singh Lather, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Delhi Technical University appreciated the teams on an amazing performance and gave away the prizes. Mr.Tej Paul Bhatla, VP and Head TCS North appreciated the schools for coming out in large numbers and expressed feeling charged and rejuvenated watching the young minds in action.
