Overview
Bajaj Group is an Indian conglomerate comprising several independent business ventures. BFVL is an enterprise formed as a carve-out of Bajaj Finance Limited.
BFVL is engaged in the business of alternative investments in properties and start-ups. In addition, it also undertakes debt management services, business process outsourcing, and all allied services related to managing human resources.
Challenges
Since the customer stakeholders were the same for both BFVL and BFL, BFVL wanted to have a smooth and streamlined migration process for the employees from one company to the other. TCS Chroma enabled this by providing HR and talent management solutions on the cloud that would unify and digitize end-to-end processes on a single platform.
Solution
Driven by a satisfactory experience and continued trust in the TCS Chroma platform, BFVL partnered with Chroma to provide HR and talent management solutions. It included functions such as recruitment, onboarding, organization and people, leave, competency, career, performance, business expenses, and payroll management.
TCS Chroma provided a separate tenant setup for BFVL, with a bring-your-own-device (BYOD)-enabled human resource management system (HRMS) set up for any time, anywhere access.
- The solution enabled BFVL to align HR policies with business priorities.
- HRMS empowered with live data enablement and insights via embedded reporting strengthened the customers’ overall decision-making process.
- Process digitization was enabled for shortlisting resumes for job applications, managing communication for employee life-cycle events and online expense claims, and creating a consistent HR-services experience for the employees.
- TCS’s integrated HR and talent management platform ensured enterprise-wide visibility into the talent base.
- With a single point of accountability, TCS’ cloud-based, modular, and scalable solution simplified the digital HR transformation for BFVL.
