We were thrilled to participate in Orchestrate, a premier learning conference hosted by the GE Vernova’s Grid Software team for customers. The in-person event, which was attended by utilities, manufacturing and IoT customers and partners, featured keynote addresses from industry leaders, software solution tracks, live demos, meeting opportunities, and after-hours networking events.

At the TCS booth, our experts displayed how next-gen technologies are set to transform the energy management and transition landscape, boosting efficiency, transitioning toward sustainability and enabling better decision-making. The booth provided interactive experiences, allowing attendees to explore TCS’ innovative solutions and understand their impact on operations.

TCS DERMS: Platform for distributed energy resources (DER) and remote monitoring and diagnostics management. Standalone DERMS, advanced distribution management systems (ADMS), integrated or purpose-built DERMS.
TCS Clever Energy: The Clever Energy solution can help commercial and industrial organizations become more sustainable, ensure energy and cost efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and decrease carbon emissions.
TCS Intelligent Power Plant: Pre-built AI platform for power plants, enables centralized monitoring of operations and optimized power generation from distributed mix energy sources.
TCS Machine Vision platform: TCS’ Machine Vision platform leverages AI and edge analytics to automate asset inspection and vegetation management for utilities, improving accuracy and operational efficiency. With seamless integration, smart image processing, and data-driven prioritization, it helps utilities reduce costs, extend asset life, and enhance grid resilience.

On June 10, TCS expert Subhash Sakorikar, Global Head – Industry Excellence and Advisory, Manufacturing, TCS, along with other industry experts, shared insights on modernizing grid software delivery and discussed how technologies like AI, cloud, robotics, and automation are enabling faster, smarter, and more resilient software implementations and upgrades. By shifting from reactive to proactive, data-driven service models, utilities can enhance grid performance, reduce downtime, and meet evolving energy demands.

The session also emphasized on the importance of agile, intelligent platforms in building future-ready energy systems.

On June 11, TCS expert Sabyasachi Chandra, VP and Head of Utilities Americas, TCS held a session which mapped out a clear path for building end-to-end digital solutions that improve operations, maximize return on capital, and ready the grid for a sustainable, secure, and adaptable future—leveraging existing platforms and joint innovation models every step of the way.
