As the head of TCS’ Communications, Media, and Information Services (CMI) business group, Akhilesh partners with TCS’ customers across the globe in creating rapid value from technology investments to realize strategic business goals. With over 25 years of international and multi-faceted leadership experience, he focuses on identifying opportunities to build and grow TCS’ CMI business and drive key strategic initiatives. Under his leadership, TCS has received several partner awards and leadership rankings from leading industry analysts. Akhilesh has an Executive Master’s in Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master’s in Materials Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Sujatha Gopal is the chief technology officer of TCS’ Communications, Media, and Information Services business. With over 25 years of work experience across various industries including telecommunications, banking and financial services, manufacturing, retail, and media, Sujatha is a veteran industry advisor to several CXOs.
Vijaya Bogadapati
Business Head, Communications and Media, UK and EU
Vijaya is a seasoned business executive with TCS’ Communications, Media and Information Services business, driving business growth and services delivery across the UK and Europe geographies. He has been in various leaderships roles in his TCS career spanning more than 28 years, specializing in strategy and deployment of digital transformation programs for customers, apart from running technology and business operations. He holds the P&L accountability of the business group comprising numerous telco and media customers. His responsibilities include strategic engagement with CXOs, sales, solutions, delivery, HR, talent management, and operations.
Benu Cherian
Global Head – Sales and Solutioning, CMI, TCS
Benu Cherian is the global head of sales and solutioning for TCS' Communications and Media business group, bringing over 25 years of deep industry domain experience in telecommunications, media, retail, and distribution. He has worked closely with CXOs in driving business operations reimagination, growth, and transformation initiatives for large telecom service providers across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North America, APAC, and India.
