For the greater good
The TCS London Marathon is one of the world’s greatest platforms for good causes. Every year, thousands of runners take on a famous course to raise money for charity and awareness for causes close to their hearts. With many running in aid of others, the race generates a sentimental factor that resonates across the city and around the world. It’s one of the reasons the TCS London Marathon has become the world’s biggest fundraising event — with £1.4 billion banked for good causes since the first edition.
This year, to shine a spotlight on the importance of youth work in England, TCS is supporting the National Youth Agency (NYA) in championing the vital role that youth work plays in shaping young people’s futures. Together, we aim to raise awareness of the life‑changing support youth workers provide in communities across England and shine a spotlight on the profession that helps young people grow, thrive, and overcome the challenges they face.
Donate and share today, your support will help change young lives.
Team TCS Teachers
Teachers do a great job of encouraging young people to be healthier and more active. The Team TCS Teachers program came to London for the first time in 2023, and in 2025, we were thrilled to support 15 inspirational teachers, putting them on the start line and giving them a platform to amplify their efforts to help young people of all abilities lead more active and healthier lives. Each of the teachers also advocated for the TCS program of STEM education in schools. As we head deeper into the digital age, science, technology, and math skills will be crucial to helping the next generation build successful careers.

TCS Mini London Marathon
Entry to the TCS Mini London Marathon is free, and the event is an excellent way to help children develop active habits for a fit and healthy life from a young age. Whether one mile or 2.6km, every child will have the opportunity to cross the iconic London Marathon finish line in front of Buckingham Palace! For every child that completes the in-person course as an official participant on race day (Saturday 25th April), TCS will donate £10 to their school to fund sports and IT equipment. In 2024, TCS donated over £129,000 and in 2025, over £151,000. This year, we’re targeting 22,000 runners
A greener race
All those involved in organising the TCS London Marathon are dedicated to ensuring the event is as sustainable as possible. We know our participants share our passion for being greener. London Marathon Events, the organisers of this iconic event, have set the ambitious target of net zero emissions by 2030. TCS partnered with the Council for Responsible Sport (CRS) to help event organisers meet climate-responsible standards. Since 2023, London Marathon Events (LME) has been using the ReScore app developed by TCS for the Council for Responsible Sport (CRS) to measure the environmental impact and social benefits of the TCS London Marathon and garner data on their sustainability footprint.
The 2025 TCS London Marathon has been recognised as the first major UK event and first marathon in the country to achieve Evergreen sustainability certification, the highest standard awarded by the Council for Responsible Sport (CRS).
