At the TCS New York City Marathon, local students participated in the goIT Innovation Challenge at the TCS New York City Marathon Pavilion on Friday, November 1. Students from local schools presented their best app ideas for using technology to help advance a key UN Sustainable Development Goal—gender equality—to a panel of judges which included Team TCS Teachers Ambassador Susanna Sullivan, who ran the 10th fastest marathon all-time by an American female.
Congratulations to the challenge winners from John Adams Middle School in Edison, New Jersey and their prototype app Equitiger meant to place kids on the sports teams they love regardless of barriers.
