The Defense Pensions Delivered Swiftly – On Time, Every Time, a government of India initiative to streamline pension distribution for over 30 lakh defence pensioners, revolutionizes pension administration for defense personnel through a centralized digital platform, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and cost efficiency. TCS started the rollout of pension processing on SPARSH in October 2020, implementing an integrated, secure, and efficient pension disbursement solution for India’s defence personnel. The digital transformation has resulted in significantly reduced pension processing timelines from 12 - 18 months to just 25 days. First-time pension payments are now made within just 2 days of a pensioner's retirement, a vast improvement from the previous month-long wait.

Taking Indian Aviation to New Heights with A Single Digital Gateway
To launch the eGCA platform, centralizing civil aviation processes like safety, licensing, and air traffic management. TCS leveraged advanced digital technologies to develop a seamless, user-friendly interface that enables stakeholders to apply, track, and manage their regulatory requirements online.
This transformation reduces turnaround times, minimizes human intervention, and enhances data accuracy, thereby fostering greater accountability. A landmark innovation under this initiative is the electronic personal license for pilots which introduces an integrated e-logbook for pilots, enabling seamless collaboration with airline operators. This saves time as pilots no longer need to manually file daily flight experience.
