TCS’ client, Saudi Arabia’s first private integrated utility company, sought to optimize its business processes and improve its service quality and consequently, customer satisfaction. It worked with TCS’ consulting team to make this vision a reality. We carried out a preliminary process examination and identified key areas for improvement.

As an outcome of our assessment, we identified the gaps and developed a Business Process Roadmap for all processes associated with “Meeting Customer Demand.” We also provided the following services to sustain the program in the long term:

  • Established a broad structure of stakeholders and their interrelationships, designed workflows and procedures for transactions at each interface and set the criteria for the transactions, deliverables and conditions
  • Benchmarked, improved and redesigned CAPEX cycle processes to meet international standards and best practices
  • Identified metrics to monitor the effectiveness of the process improvement recommendations for key processes
  • Established a centralized monitoring function to provide seamless communication between the stakeholders which would ensure compliance to the optimized system design

challenges faced by the company and executed initiatives to further strengthen their strategic objectives, and deliver value for their customers.
