The 17th edition of TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2025 ignited the city with vibrant energy on April 27, 2025. A testament to Bengaluru’s lively running scene, participants sprinted past live cultural performances and cheering zones.
On race day, more than 34000 runners pushed their limits and laced up their shoes to run towards a healthier tomorrow.
In the lead-up to the big day, a number of crucial events took place. Here’s a brief overview of the most notable ones.
TCS’ social innovation initiative, Digital Impact Square (DISQ), which works with promising entrepreneurs, set up a stall at the expo and showcased innovative startups. Lifespark Technologies, one of the two stalls, is set to beat Parkinson’s and help improve the mobility and independence of those affected by the disease. They have developed a wearable aid, WALK, that reduces freezing events and falls and, in a way, enables at-home therapy.
This startup has developed game-based platforms for the early detection of neurological disorders in kids. With its innovative and smart design, Kidaura has embarked on a mission to revolutionize childcare. While Kidaura Care enables an online therapy experience, ScreenPlay, a game-based screening platform, makes it possible to detect autism and other neurological disorders in children (within the age group of 3-6 years).
On April 25, 2025, we had the opportunity to sit down with Dalilah Muhammad, Event Ambassador of TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2025. An American track and field athlete, her specialty is 400m hurdles. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist (2016, 2020) and an Olympic Silver medalist.
During the exclusive interview, she shared her valuable insights and reflected upon her journey to success, navigating through injuries.

Ugandan runner Sarah Chelangat emerged victorious in the women’s category, completing the race in 31 minutes and 07 seconds.

Joshua Cheptegei, also from Uganda, was the fastest male runner, crossing the finish line in 27 minutes and 53 seconds.

While Abhishek Pal dominated the Indian Elite Men's category, Sanjivani Jadhav emerged victorious in the same category for women.
The TCS World 10K Bengaluru has evolved into a fitness festival, bringing together runners from all walks of life. The 17th edition this year was no different. With a line-up of all-women pacers leading the way, young and old runners came together with a shared purpose: to cross the finishing line and have fun.
After the race, we met with a few runners to understand what motivated them to run and listen to their running experiences this year. Some runners ran because of their passion, some ran to bounce back from the past, and others ran for fitness. The course had its fair share of challenges with the elevated terrain, but runners supported and cheered one another to the finish line.
Over the years, TCS World 10K Bengaluru has proved time and again that life’s journey is best traveled together. The race day might be over, but the thrill lingers on!
