Celebrating the glory of running
More than 48,000 runners participated in the TCS Amsterdam Marathon 2024, with over 500,000 spectators cheering them on. The energy and passionate support of the crowd helped inspire Yalemzerf Yehualaw to set a new women’s course record: 2.16.52, half a minute faster than the former course record from 2022.
A true testament to TCS’ commitment to the enduring connection between technology and running, the official TCS Amsterdam Marathon app was downloaded over 137,610 times—a new record! 2024 marked the fourteenth year of TCS’ title sponsorship of the Amsterdam Marathon, with participants raising a total of €1,305,929 for KWF and the Cancer Centre Amsterdam. TCS donated €30,000 to KWF and the Cancer Centre, together with €7,000 to Running Blind.
